It’s All About the BEADS

K1 and I’ve been going to the Gasparilla Sant’ Yago Knight Parade for seven years. We’ve found a few creative ways to use the beads (once we decorated our Christmas tree with them) but mostly they just sit in our closet as each year goes by. And each year we say “we should throw those away…” but, of course, we don’t…

…and each year we collect about 200+ more to add to the collection.

This year our friend and out-of-town guest Denise was here for a visit and to enjoy the parade. She hauled her well-won beads home to her kids - Finally, two little someones can enjoy the fun of Gasparilla beads!

Ari and Joey say, “That’s a ‘big thumbs up’, Mom, for Gasparilla beads!”
