THIS is Florida? Winter?! For REAL?!

Last night’s lows were around 35° - THIRTY-FIVE DEGREES - not counting the wind chill. Northern Florida had temps even lower - into the 20’s. Right at this very moment (noon!) it’s still only 48° with today’s expected “high” only 58°.

I’m confused, because the last time I checked it’s not supposed to be that cold in Florida, especially at the end of February.

… *goes to (hopefully) find a long-sleeve shirt in the back of the closet while pondering the thought of turning on the heat* …

By Monday it’s supposed to be back in the low 80’s during the day and mid 60’s at night. I’d be happy with 60 at night, if it weren’t so darn humid (so it feels warmer and stickier and uncomfortable to the point of needing the A/C)

Speaking of my A/C, today might be one of it’s only day’s off for the whole year! Such a well-deserved vacation…

Heh, can’t say I miss the “warm and sticky” part of Florida. Had two ice storms and some snow in the past two weeks alone up here in chilly VA.

Of course, it’s not really fun to have to hack through a half-inch thick shell of ice to get into your car, but it’s still better than the heat.
