Interesting…It may be too early for me to answer clearly. I think it might mean we all need to lend a helping hand because we’re all in this life/world together. I probably am no where close but thanks for making me think and another chance to win.

I like the girl drawing in the doodle book with all the swirly thoughts coming out of her head…haha, and you even have the puppy! I like it. I’ve been wanting to make my own site with all my own stuff, but I’m not very technologically savvy in that way so template it remains :)
2008/04/22 10:11
Lot going on in the header image. Well done! I think the center image is perfect for a blogger. And I’m thinking you’re the one that talked about a doodle book? If so, that’s a great way to personalize your header even more. Speaks of creativity and maybe wanting to break out of a rut?
The one on the left…. is she blowing the middle one out of her stick? I’m probably not saying this right, but kind of looks like that’s ‘you’ on the left channeling your inner creativity to your blog maybe. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Oh, and love the background.
2008/04/22 10:14
I think the hands show you are a helpful person, maybe involved with charities? And the center image is saying you’re creative, perhaps a writer or you create custom cards?
Great design! Especially for a FIRST try. I cant even imagine how to begin designing my own graphic… lol
2008/04/22 10:46
Hmmmm . . . to me it speaks of creative thought and femininity.
2008/04/22 11:01
I love it. I think it shows that you are carefree and creative, and of course the girl pouring her thoughts into the doodle book is the centerpiece. Along with the dog. =) The hands make me think of a mother and child relationship, even though they seem to be the same size. So maybe that’s about friendship instead? I’m less sure about the girl on the left holding the…curly branch?…but I like it. Maybe that’s your muse, feeding ideas to you as you doodle?
2008/04/22 11:07
The image in the middle looks like it’s about creativity - all kinds of wild thoughts and writing some of them down. The hands on the right bring to mind creativity in other ways (like building things), helpfulness, and friendship. I’m not sure about the image on the left, but I like noname’s interpretation of it.
2008/04/22 12:33
Please don’t be insulted: the first thing I thought of when I saw the image was a peacock. But peacocks are generally beautiful and so is the idea of art and creativity so there you go. And I like the “51st state…” Hah!
2008/04/22 13:15
That is pretty cool looking. Good work. It is saying, I like curly stuff.
2008/04/22 13:45
I think it’s showing that she’s artistically expressing a form of what she’s thinking of… I like the graphic! It’s very visually appealing to me. It’s one of those that you sit and look at for a long time because there’s so much it could mean…
2008/04/22 19:04
Ideas flowing from your mind through your pen… reaching out to share… getting comfy on the floor with the cute little doggy side-kick…
2008/04/22 23:41
I think it’s referring in part to the quip in your sidebar about you wanting a chip in your brain to upload directly to your blog. :) Kind of like a “brain-to-page” direct link. It also shows that you are thoughtful and creative and like to daydream…
2008/04/22 23:45
And also, I think your blog’s name and tagline are hilarious. You go.
2008/04/23 2:48
I like your header. To me, it looks like you have so much creative thought that it just spills out. The graphic to the left at first to me looked like you were smoking something, but then I really looked and realized it was a pen. Anyway, I think it’s a cool header!
2008/04/23 14:21
Looking at the graphics they speak to me saying, that you are reaching out, the ideas in your mind are flowing outward wherever or onto the blog pages and you commune with chihuahuas (not sure if that last part is true, but why else is the dog there?)
2008/04/23 15:39
Well, I think it says you are a creative girl, who likes variety (due to the different lettering you use) and you are whimsical, a dreamer.
2008/04/23 16:51
To me it is a woman writing down her head full of thought in her journal. I think there is creativity coming full force from her, also! She likes small dogs and writing.
Thanks,Cindi

To me, it looks like a woman, perhaps a blogger, who has a lot of creativity that is flowing out of her and onto her paper.
2008/04/24 0:25
First of all, I LOVE your blog title/theme, it cracks me up! I think your header is about the ways you express yourself and how YOU come through in that expression. I love the graphic too by the way! :)
2008/04/24 8:37
I’d say you’re a romantic who likes to write. And who likes chihuahuas!
2008/04/24 11:04
To me this speaks of creativity. In writing, in thinking, in doing. Creativity flows from everything you do.
2008/04/24 11:39
Great job on the header - to me it’s says you’re fun, a bit whimsical, imaginative and welcoming! But, by the colors, also a bit conservative.
2008/04/24 11:46
You are artistic and fun and maybe a bit in the stars with your thoughts. I’m not good at this kind of thing, lol. I am certainly up there in the stars, I have 7 kids and am always in confusion, chaos and crazy.
2008/04/24 13:14
Hmm, I’m definitely getting creativity, feminity, and artistic expression, you like to write ;), and express yourself creatively, you are also a people person and like reaching out to others. You always have a lot of things going on in your mind!
2008/04/24 18:03
Well, I am not good at interpreting, but I see someone who has a lot of creativity flowing from her, loves animals and likes to give a helping hand to people or be friends with people. Since you say it is the state of confusion I would think that there is more coming out of you than you know what to do with.
Oh well, Just a try.
2008/04/24 18:03
Wow, the header is really busy, but cool. It looks like you are attempting to convey your creative muse with a bit of flight of fancy. I dig it. Great work!
oh
Bonus entry. :)
2008/04/24 21:35
Hmm… it looks very artistic–maybe musical, definitely writing and drawing… And you want to reach out to others or make this a community (the joining hands). Very nice!
2008/04/25 3:23
Okay, when I first saw this, I kind of thought the person was blowing smoke? maybe out of a tree pipe. I really like the middle of the image with the girl on the open book drawing. My favorite thing is the play on the states/andyour user name. That is very clever.
The more I look at it I get more of the creative writing aspect instead of the pipe… maybe i should get some sleep
2008/04/25 8:19
The girl laying down looking like the ideas are flowing out of her head. She’s creative. The creativity is bursting out.
2008/04/25 23:24
Oh, I’m so glad this was the question because the header really struck me when I came from the bloggy carnival link, and I was wondering if you were an artist (which I’m going to go explore your site a little more to find out). That was mainly what I thought it symbolized–your art and the different ways you created it.
Also, it has somewhat of a similarity to some of the art I do (I love “squiggles” and siloettes)…and also the whole site name caught my attention. Also an odd coincidence…I have a site that plays with state names too (Texifornia.com). Anyways…got me curious and I’m off to explore the rest of your blog.

I think your graphic speaks a woman that wants her writing to grow, thus the plant-like look that’s extending off the end of your pen. I think it depicts your mind ever-growing too, like our hair does during our lifetime (unless we get it cut of course:)). It also speaks of the things that you like to do or the things you like, like writing, creating, and your pet. The hands may represent that you like to use them and put them to good, creative use. Maybe your creativity flows from your hands, through your pen, and onto your paper. The dog is just a silent witness to all of your creativity. So, what do you think about my comment? Also, I’d like to use this comment to be entered into your contest for the second time. Thanks.
2008/04/26 15:04
I see the middle image as you mulling over your thoughts and trying to express them creatively. Not sure what the left image represents. Do you eat branches? the hands on the rights signify your attempt to reach out to others.
That’s my 30-second psych round-up.
