An Apology

I’m sorry when I do those things
That make you roll your eyes.
You know how I usually am,
The “rules” never do apply.

However…

I think I’ll change my ways,
Having seen myself in this light,
And ask you for forgiveness,

Hoping that you might,

Accept this - “I’m sorry,”
For all my silly, crazy ways,
And give me just one more chance,
To have a great big “do-over”,
