Sunday KITTY Cute

Loss - Theirs, Ours, Mine

A Promotion!

Today, I’m a proud momma just in time for Wordless Wednesday

When K1 saw this post, he pointed out that the blurb below the highlighed part makes it seem as if my son might have a reading deficiency! Ack!  The statement is actually just something that is posted on each student’s report card, and reads “As stated in the FL state statutes, if a student’s reading deficiency is not remediated by the end of Grade 3, the student must be retained unless he or she is exempt from mandatory retention for good cause.

In fact, my son always scores above average in reading and comprehension.  On his final report (the part of the picture you can’t even see) it says that his Reading Common Assessment for March/April should be >=17, and his score is 23.
