~ Took all the large envelopes to the Post Office, weighed, postaged and mailed each (using the postage machine in the lobby - no standing in line for me!)
~ Picked up some long-sleeved t-shirts and tops for me from Target for our trip. Bought warm socks and a new pair of shoes (that aren’t flip flops). I only buy cold weather clothing about once every 4 years, or so… K1 found an awesome pair of Superman pajamas for The Kidlet for Christmas. We also bought a cool 3-D globe puzzle and a music CD for K1’s son [T].
~ Went to Harbor Freight and bought a gag gift for K1’s dad… oh and a $100 gift certificate to go with it. HF is K1’s dad’s favorite store.
~ Went to Bath and Bodyworks for a gift for K1’s mom. She likes this particular lotion that I get her every year (consequently, she usually gives me my favorite lotion for B&B, too!)
~ Called the vet to verify how much Benadryl to give Hunny Bear so she’ll be calm(er) on the flight to Phoenix.
~ Paid the rest of the bills due before the end of December.
~ Mailed two more Christmas cards.
~ Stopped and picked up Chinese take-out for dinner. Came home and consumed.
STILL TO DO BEFORE 6 AM SUNDAY:
1. Dialysis treatment tomorrow AM
2. Pack up dog supplies, toys, food, etc. for Trixie and Sassy’s stay @ the dogsitter’s
3. Figure out what to take for Hunny Bear on our trip.
4. Laundry
5. Pack
6. Wrap the last presents for K1’s family
7. Buy a new set of earbud headphones
8. FIND WHERE WE PACKED OUR WINTER COATS WHEN WE MOVED!!!
9. Dishes (again)
10. Check with The Ex-Husband to see if they got last minute flights to CA for his step-father’s memorial
