I’ve had an iPhone since the original 8 GB models were introduced last fall. Recently, I upgraded to the new iPhone 3G, mainly to add the additional storage of the 16 GB model, but also because I dig the GPS feature.

OMG. There is a newish iPhone application to access a WordPress blog and use one’s tired, aching fingertips to write posts. Certainly I won’t use it often (can you imagine the time and dedication it would take?) but one fun test entry can’t hurt…
… now if the brilliant Apple people would just invent copy and paste we’d be set.

I think there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind how much I love Starbucks. And, just in case you’ve never caught that news flash: I really, REALLY love Starbucks!
I’ve also recently become an iPhone owner and an iTunes user. The iTunes came before the iPhone which ultimately necessitated the need for the iPhone. Not necessarily a big stretch of the imagination there, except I’ve always been a dedicated PC owner / Windows user so converting/switching/even just trying anything APPLE was a step for me.
Oh how happy I’ve become in the last few days! Didn’t you know? Didn’t you hear!? Starbucks is giving away 50 million iTunes songs Personally, I didn’t even need convincing to jump on the free Starbucks/iTunes daily song bandwagon (FREE means FREE) as I’m already an avidly addicted daily Starbucks visitor.
Now with my morning Unsweetened Venti Black Iced Tea or my Grande Espresso Frappuccino Lite with Extra Whipped Cream (get it - the “lite” part makes me feel less guilty about the “extra whipped cream” issue) I pick up my daily free iTunes song redemption card. All I do is open my iTunes, either on my desktop or on my iPhone, and click “Redeem” to enter the code. Its just that easy!
I should also mention that whenever you register your Starbucks Card Plus 2 on the website, you get two additional iTunes downloads. With the freebies that come with the registration you can pick any song to purchase at the iTunes store - its not limited to the “song of the day”.
