If you’ve ever been to my house, or met my ‘middle’ dog, Sassy, you know how skittish she is - we call her “skeptical” because she’s not easily convinced the world, in general, is a safe place to be. She keeps a watchful eye (but a good distance) on everything. Sassy is excessively observant and always knows where everyone is, how everyone feels, and who’s doing what…
… including where Trixie has R-U-N-N-O-F-T* to.

Oh, Trixie, where did you go? *cry*
This is so totally NOT how I wanted to spend my afternoon - making ‘lost dog’ fliers and walking/running/driving around and around my neighborhood yelling for her.
It’s my fault - I know she’s a runner. I opened the back porch to let the dogs out to go potty, and before I could leash her, she was off. She ran so fast I didn’t even see which way she went.
I hate myself.
