I haven’t been on the intrawebz in almost 10 days (not counting Twitter, which I do mostly from my phone). I haven’t blogged, read any feeds, or participated in any meaningful online discussions.
Sorry, but I haven’t missed a single one of ya…
… or the blog drama
… or the US and international political discussions
… or the tropical weather reports.
Basically? I’m not here right now*, so leave a message at the beep.

McCain’s new VP candidate, Governor Sarah Palin, didn’t mention her daughter’s pregnancy in her RNC speech last night. IMHO, neglecting to mention [her daughter's personal business] was appropriate.
Likewise, if she HAD mentioned [her feelings about becoming a grandmother], it would’ve been equally appropriate.
I’m now amused by certain individuals (and groups) speaking on behalf of (or due to their personal affiliations with) pro-adoption/anti-adoption and/or pro-life/pro-choice who are making a huge deal out of her decision to not pen it into her speech about it
(they would’ve made a big deal out of it if she HAD talked about it, too.)
Goes to prove that you just can’t please everyone all of the time…

LIGHTBULB MOMENT: I’m reading all the wrong blogs. Lately, I find my opinions inexplicably narrowing by the lack of diverse content and opinions… Unfortunately, my feed list has become too populated by judgment-callers, popularity contestants, and blog-buddy clique members.
What’s a blog-buddy clique, you ask?
